Traitors weekend

Itinerary

Day 1.

10 :00  Reception :  You will be greeted by your hosts and meet the other contestants over morning refreshments.  Will they be your allies or adversaries? 

11:00 The first round table:  The object of the game will be explained and with blindfolds in place the traitors will be chosen.

The chosen traitors will receive their special tasks and create their strategy through a a whatsapp group. On the app, the traitors will discuss their potential victims and decide who will be murdered.

12:00 Let the Games begin:  Let the games begin! You will split into 2 teams for the weekend. The winners will receive shields for tonight’s murder.  Which of your fellow players are good at puzzles and riddles?  For every puzzle or riddle answered or finished correctly 10€ will be added to the prize fund.

13:30 Lunch: A buffet lunch will be served in the salon, this is a time for you to get to know your fellow players, ask lots of questions as their answers will help you in one of the following games.

15:00 Game 2:  Retrieve the Chateau's treasure .  You will be required to find the treasure chests on the estate and bring them back to the chateau.  Each treasure chest holds various amounts of treasure, that will be added to the prize fund at the end of the game if retrieved and brought back to the finish line, as long as every player is back in the courtyard before the claxton sounds.  You will have 30 minutes to finish your task.

17:00 Time to discover:  Use your time to discover as much as you can about your fellow players as tonight you will need to make decisions.  Who will you banish first? 

19:00 Join your fellow players for a feast (3 course meal) served by your hosts.  Eat well, because this may be your final meal.  After dinner you will join at the round table to take your vote on your first banishment.

Once the votes are counted, the banished player will reveal if you have successfully banished a traitor or one of your fellow faithfuls.

If you are successful and the banished player is a traitor they will then become one of the wailing banshees in tomorrow’s games. If you are not successful and your fellow player was in fact a faithful then you will have the chance to resurrect that player by forgoing your entire team's shields, if any have been won.  If you decide to resurrect them they will continue to play in the game but you will have the knowledge that they are not a traitor.  If you decide not to resurrect them, they too will become a wailing banshee the following day.

During the night the traitors will be making their decision on who they are going to murder.

Day 2. 

10:00 Meet for refreshments and find out who the traitors decided to murder the previous night. The murdered contestant will become a wailing banshee for that days tasks. 

11:00 Game 3: The Wailing Banshee.  You will be given maps of the estate and clues to the first pot of gold.  After finding the gold you must then find a wailing banshee and use your gold to pay for your next clue.   Listen carefully to the clues as there may be some important information that will help you to discover who the traitors are. (This is why it is important to chat with your fellow players and find out as much as you can about them).  Beawre, there will be signs along the way to some extra hidden treasure. Today there will be 3 murders in plain sight! 

13:30 Lunch: A buffet lunch will be served in the salon.  Use this time wisely to get to know your fellow players.

15:00 Game 4:  How good is your memory? In this game, you will need to have a good memory. Split into 2 teams. You will work together to not only add money to the prize pot, but also win prizes for each member of the winning team.

17:00  The final round table:  It is now time to find out who has been murdered in plain sight and time for you to make your banishment of the day. 

Everyone will be asked to meet at the firepit for the finale.  All banished and murder victims will be spectators but all remaining players can ask them for advice.

Remaining players will be asked if they still believe there is a traitor amongst them.  If the remaining players still believe there is a traitor in the game they will vote again to banish another player, this will continue until the remaining player / players  think that it is only the faithful that remain. 

If a traitor is still among the final players at the end of the game they will win the entire prize fund, if faithful’s stand alone at the end of the game, they will win the prize fund and be crowned the winners.

19:00 BBQ Buffet.  Enjoy your final evening and celebrate the winners of the game.
